In a small Southern town in the late 1960s, a young boy, Jerry, lives with his dysfunctional family in a small house directly below a drive-in movie screen. Jerry and his older sister, Sandra, try to prevent their parents from breaking up while the movie screen is a portal to fantasy and comfort through the crisis.
